Rules and Regulations for the Event
All reservations have a two night minimum (Sunday, April 7th & Monday, April 8th). RV sites are $250 a night for a $500 total and Tent sites are $200 a night for a $400 total. Guests have the option to arrive a day early (Saturday, April 6th) and/or stay an extra night (Tuesday, April 9th). Each of these additional nights will be charged at a rate of $50 per night.
Rentals must be paid in full and rental agreement filled out and signed at time of reservation. Check or Cashier’s Check can be mailed (I’ll hold your spot for one week to give it time to get here and be deposited). Credit cards are accepted through Square. Rental agreement and indemnification form can be found on this site and on our Facebook group page, you may fill it out and email to the above address or mail it with check to:

There will be no refunds for any reason, including no-shows, late arrivals or early departures regardless of circumstance. There are no exceptions to this policy including illness, family emergencies or inclement weather. This is an astronomical event that will happen regardless of the weather or other circumstances, so rescheduling is impossible.
All tent and RV campsites are primitive sites. No electricity or water will be available at the individual campsites.
Rules & Regulations for Solar Eclipse 24 at Middle D Ranch
1. Check in: All occupants must register with the Campground Check-in Tent upon arrival to receive camping spot assignment, a copy of the rules and regulations and to have each camper sign waiver.
2. Reservations: All reservations include a two night stay at the ranch for the nights of April 7th & 8th, 2024. RV sites are $250 a night for a $500 total and Tent sites are $200 a night for a $400 total. Additional nights may be booked at the time of reservation for an additional fee of $50 per night.
3. Vehicles: Only one vehicle permitted per registered campsite. This includes both tent and RV sites. Motorhomes will be allowed one tow vehicle. No ATV’s or side by sides are permitted.
4. Campsite: All tents, RV’s, vehicles and personal belongings must fully fit within your designated camping spot. 6 person max per site. RV spots are 30’X60’ and Tent spots are 20’X40’.
5. Restrooms: There will be porta potties on site.
6. Campfires: There will be no open campfires allowed anywhere on the property. Self-contained BBQ grills/fire pits using propane are permitted.
7. Speed Limit: Vehicle speed limit throughout the campgrounds will be 5 mph. This is for camper’s and pedestrian’s safety. Anyone driving reckless or at excessive speed will be asked to leave the premises.
8. RV’s: Must be fully self-contained. No dump stations will be available.
9. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours will be observed between the hours of 10 pm to 7 am.
10. Trash Bins: Campsites must be kept clean and tidy. There will be a roll off container near the entrance available for bagged trash.
11. Glass Containers: No glass beverage containers of any kind permitted. All drink containers must be paper, plastic or aluminum (this is for general safety and also the safety of our livestock after the event).
12. Food and Drink: There will be no food or drink available for purchase on site. There are local restaurants and festivals nearby.
13. Pets: Dogs will be allowed, but must be on leash for their safety as well as everyone else’s.
14. Bright Lights: Many guests will enjoy the clear night for astronomy. We ask that bright lights be kept to a minimum during quiet hours. The ranch is located far enough in the country that light pollution is minimal.
15. Privacy: Please respect other campers by not walking through occupied campsites. There will be designated walking/driving paths through the camping area.
16. Drones: Drones are prohibited.
17. Children: Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children at all times!
18. Conduct: No person shall disturb the peace, make unreasonable noise, engage in violent behavior or display/discharge a firearm or other weapon.
19. Damage: Any guest that willfully or negligently destroy or harms property or equipment will be held liable for said property’s repair or replacement.
20. Changes: These rules can be changed or amended at any time up to the time of the event. A list of rules will be available at check in and also posted in public areas of the ranch.
21. ANY GUEST FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE CAMPGROUND WITHOUT REFUND.
